"Apples and Books Learning Center Honored With Distinguished Safety Award" Richmond, VA, January 25,2011 - Markel Insurance Company announced today that 35 child care and private school organizations have received the prestigious Safety 1st designation for 2010. Each year, Markel's Safety 1st program recognizes policyholders who have shown an exceptional commitment to the safety of their employees and customers. Among the 35 centers nationwide, Apples and Books Learning Center, located at 1036 US Highway 202 in Branchburg was awarded this honor.
