Apples and Books Learning Center focuses on the development of the whole child - cognitively, emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually.
We follow New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards and implement The Creative Curriculum, enabling children to participate in hands-on activities throughout the day. Through a multi-sensory approach, our children have access to a variety of learning styles. We maintain a daily schedule allowing us to keep peaceful, active, and well-structured classroom environments. Realistic curriculum goals and plans are based on regular assessment of individual needs, strengths and interests. We see each child as an individual and care for them with regard to his/her special temperament. All of our staff value and respect each family’s culture and practices. Our goal is to build partnerships with families to provide the best care for each child. Our flexible programs offers full and part time schedules to meet family needs. We have been providing quality daycare for children since 1995 in infant care, toddler care, preschool, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten preparatory, before and after school care, back-up care and summer camp. Our before and after school care program is for children who attend kindergarten through 5th grade. Back-up care is available for all children up to the age of 13. Our summer camp is an extension of our regular school year and is also available just for the summertime. We also have a Counselor-In-Training program specifically geared for children ages 10 to 13 years of age. |
